Serbia eye revenge against England in Gelsenkirchen
Euro 2024: Group B
16 June 2024
Serbia will be seeking revenge when they take on England in their opening match of Euro 2024 at the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen on June 16.
The two sides last met in the group stage of the 2018 World Cup, with England running out 2-1 winners. Serbia will be looking to avenge that defeat and get their Euro 2024 campaign off to a winning start.
England, meanwhile, will be looking to build on their impressive performance at the 2022 World Cup, where they reached the semi-finals. Gareth Southgate's side will be confident of getting a positive result against Serbia and starting their Euro 2024 campaign on a high.
The match is set to get underway at 19:00 CET.
