Best Sorcerer Subclasses
In Baldur's Gate 3, sorcerers have access to three subclasses: the Draconic Bloodline, the Wild Magic, and the Divine Soul. Each subclass has its own unique abilities and playstyles.
Draconic Bloodline
The Draconic Bloodline subclass grants sorcerers resistance to a specific damage type, based on the type of dragon their bloodline is descended from. They also gain access to spells that deal that type of damage, as well as the ability to cast spells with their breath weapon.
Wild Magic
The Wild Magic subclass grants sorcerers the ability to cast spells with a chaotic and unpredictable effect. They also gain access to the Tides of Chaos ability, which allows them to reroll a failed spellcasting check.
Divine Soul
The Divine Soul subclass grants sorcerers access to spells from the cleric spell list. They also gain the ability to heal themselves and their allies, as well as the ability to cast spells with radiant damage.
