Crystal Palace's Main Stand Redevelopment: A Major Step Forward

New Stand to Provide a Stadium for South London to Be Proud Of

Palace Given Go-Ahead for Revised Main Stand Development

A Selhurst Park redevelopment is underway at Crystal Palace FC with Croydon Council recently granting permission to the south London club. It has taken more than half a decade, but the redevelopment of Selhurst Park finally looks to be set in stone.

Crystal Palace have taken a major step forward in the redevelopment of their Selhurst Park stadium after signing an agreement with the London Borough of Croydon. The new Main Stand will provide a stadium that the whole of south London can be proud of.

The new stand will increase the capacity of Selhurst Park to over 25,000 and will include a new concourse, retail outlets, and hospitality suites. It will also be fully accessible for disabled fans.

The redevelopment of Selhurst Park is a major investment in the local area. It will create jobs, boost the local economy, and provide a new landmark for south London.

Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish said: "This is a historic day for Crystal Palace. We have been working on this redevelopment for many years, and we are delighted to have finally received planning permission.

"The new Main Stand will be a magnificent addition to Selhurst Park and will provide our fans with a world-class stadium. We are committed to making Crystal Palace a top-flight club, and this redevelopment is a major step towards achieving that goal."
